School mourns loss of teen.... ROBO

Everything was fine when Cody left school Friday afternoon. Later on Friday night Cody (ROBO), took his life. We have all lost a good friend and the funny friend in Mr. Jones's Agri class. its hard to hear that we all lost a good friend. Both kids and adutls at Batesville High School are mourning over the loss of ROBO. I have lost a person that looked out for me in agri and in the hall ways at school, its hard to not know why he did what he did.

Cleanup under way after storms tear through sothern Mississippi

People in sothern Mississippi are suffring for many storms that hit home. Monday seven Missippi counties were dealing with widespread damage after a swarm of storms that came through Sunday evening. No one was killed in the storms. A tornado hit Hattiesburg, a sothern Mississippi city that straddles Lamar and Forrest counties. The Weather Service described the storm as packing 170 mph winds-- an EF-4 on the service's tornadic scale. The tornado sirens were activated 20 to 30 minutes before the twister touched down, DuPree said. "I think that was enough for people to find shelter, to go to a Place in their house that was safe," he added. People are still out of power and are still cleaning up after the storms that hit home.
